The Opsview Data Warehouse (ODW) provides a central repository for historical monitoring data.

The ODW is populated from the Opsview runtime database. The purpose of ODW is to support reporting and analysis of monitoring data. Event data can be used for availability metrics, root cause analysis and fault tracking. Performance data that can be used for performance and trend analysis.

Opsview Reports uses ODW as its data source, third party tools such as Business Objects can also be used for report generation and analysis.
