Overview

Opsview Reports is a framework for creating reports in Opsview. Opsview reports integrates with the Opsview Data Warehouse.

The framework provides the following capabilities:

• Automation: reports are generated and distributed automatically
• Multiple levels of summarisation
• Range of graphing options for easy interpretation of data
• Completely customisable

Opsview reports is ideal for automatically producing management reports on a weeky or monthly basis.

    

Report creation

Opsview Reports is built on the Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) Java framework.

Report templates are used to define what data should be included and how it should be presented. A simple web interface is provided for managing report generation and distribution lists.
